1st-World IT Services is a small company with a primary objective to provide IT services and products
to individuals and small businesses. Our niche is providing high quality business and technical solutions to real world problems, at a very affordable cost.
What distinguishes 1st-World IT from other service/product providers?
We care about you. We are here to help and to add value in our service to you.
People first !
| Solutions oriented ! | Pay us after !
Software currently plays a huge role in our everyday lives, controlling automobiles, airplanes, plants and machinery, apps, applications and services.
Software should be affordable (relatively speaking), and should not be perpetually leased or rented.
(What is wrong with people owning and having control over their software products?).
1st-World IT Services is about empowering, teaching, educating, sharing, freely distributing or selling quality well engineered software you can own.
We specialize in consultancy on affordable (and free) software alternatives to the
ever growing (unsustainable) subscription model for software deployment.
To provide useful consultancy, products and quality service that adds value without burdening our clients. To teach and share not only things of the physical, but also the joyous good Word of the gospel of Jesus Christ by which those that believe are saved.
Mr Garnet Hume is the servant tasked with using his God given gifts to
help you. He has had a decade of experience in the energy sector (his 3rd love) working
across different departments (HSE, Inspection Engineering Services, Process Engineering and Refinery Operations).
Now out of the energy industry, he has returned to his second love; software engineering.
Unshackled by corporate culture, free in Christ and unburdened by keeping up with
social demands, he is now dedicated to sustainable, ownable software development.
Mr Hume has completed a BSc in Computer Science from the University of the West Indies,
as well as a MSc in Innovation, Manufacturing Management and Entrepreneurship from the University of Trinidad and Tobago.
He is also an affiliate member of iChemE (Institution of Chemical Engineers).
...but that isn't all that important. Because one day, we all die, and titles and positions die with us.
Qualifications do not change who we are as persons. And the most noble of works cannot save our souls.
..but this...
"...I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead,
yet shall he live:"
(John 11:25 - Jesus Christ).
